The Web Gallery of Art -  is a virtual museum and searchable database of European fine arts from 11th to 19th centuries. It was started in 1996 as a topical site of the Renaissance art, originated in the Italian city-states of the 14th century and spread to other countries in the 15th and 16th centuries. Intending to present Renaissance art as comprehensively as possible, the scope of the collection was later extended to show its Medieval roots as well as its evolution to Baroque and Rococo via Mannerism. Encouraged by the feedback from the visitors, recently 19th-century art was also included. However, we do not intend to present 20th-century and contemporary art.The collection has some of the characteristics of a virtual museum. The experience of the visitors is enhanced by guided tours helping to understand the artistic and historical relationship between different works and artists, by period music of choice in the background and a free postcard service. At the same time the collection serves the visitors' need for a site where various information on art, artists and history can be found together with corresponding pictorial illustrations. Although not a conventional one, the collection is a searchable database supplemented by a glossary containing articles on art terms, relevant historical events, personages, cities, museums and churches.

Veterans Service Records - Many times veterans have lost their records regarding their military service. This web site will help you to obtain a copy of those records which are often needed when applying for home loans, veterans benefits and much more. I personally have used this site to get copies of my military records. If you've been discharged from military service, your personnel files are stored here at the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). We are the official repository for records of military personnel who have been discharged from the U.S. Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, Navy and Coast Guard. The National Personnel Records Center responds to over 1.4 million requests annually for copies of military personnel and/or medical records. Our goal is to provide timely responses in an efficient manner, so that veterans and their families obtain the information needed to qualify for benefits and entitlements.Nearly half of all requesters seek only a copy of the separation document, which is the necessary document required for veteran benefits. However, about ten percent of the requests that we receive ask for a copy of a file.

The Roar Foundation supports The Shambala Preserve and shares its mission:
To educate the public about exotic animals and to advocate for legislation to protect them. To provide sanctuary for exotic animals who have suffered from gross mistreatment and neglect so they can regain their physical and mental health and live out their lives in dignity.

The Roar Foundation, founded in 1983 by Tippi Hedren, exists solely to support the abandoned exotic felines at Shambala Preserve. Our mission is to educate the public about the dangers of private ownership of exotic animals. Huge numbers of dangerous animals are bred and sold in the United States for illegal purposes. Private ownership presents a grave danger to the public and is cruel and unfair. More stringent legislation is needed to prohibit breeding and selling. We are actively involved on federal as well as state levels.

Shambala is home to over 50 big cats: lions, tigers, cougars, black and spotted leopards, servals, bobcats, and Asian leopard cats, who live out their lives at Shambala. All have come to the Preserve after confiscation by authorities such as California Fish and Game, the United States Department of Agriculture, the ASCPA, and various Humane Societies. They are from roadside zoos and private citizens who realize that they have purchased an animal that they can no longer handle. The exotic cat trade is a huge business, just under illegal drugs, according to U.S. Fish and Wildlife.

Haggin Museum - an art and history museum located in Stockton California, has been referred to by Sunset magazine as "one of the undersung gems of California." The impressive brick building has stood in the center of Stockton’s lush Victory Park for 82 years, but it’s what’s on the inside that makes it worth visiting. On display in the museum’s fine art galleries are dozens of paintings by renowned 19th- and early 20th-century American and European artists, including Jean Béraud, Rosa Bonheur, William Bouguereau, Jean-Léon Gérôme, George Inness and Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Of particular note are breathtaking panoramas of Yosemite Valley (including one once loaned to the White House) by American painter Albert Bierstadt. The Haggin has the largest museum collection of major Bierstadt works.

Father's Forum was started in 1986 with the belief that our lives as dads could be more meaningful, vital, interesting and enjoyable if we were prepared to become parents. This means being actively involved in the birth process and learning about the transition to parenthood. This forum brings dads together to explore the challenging and difficult first year of parenthood makes a huge difference about how we experience fatherhood. Themes about understanding our relationship with our own father and appreciating the value of male friendships have often been the focus of the groups. Fathers' Forum has been able to educate men on how to develop friendships with other dads and be able to discuss feelings about parenting and fatherhood.

National Center for Fathering ( is a nonprofit educational organization that provides research-based training and resources so that men are equipped to address their children’s needs. Our goal is to reverse the cultural trend toward fatherlessness by helping every dad learn how to be a father. At, we believe every child needs a dad they can count on. The research is clear: children thrive when they have an involved father—someone who loves them, knows them, guides them, and helps them achieve their destiny. We inspire and equip men to be the involved fathers, grandfathers and father figures their children need. Changed lives.
